Four Years, Baby!

It's hard to believe I've been here for four years now, but there you go. It's exciting, but it makes me realize just how much time has passed since my freshman year, and how much I have changed (both as an artist and as a person). It's slightly sombering.

For my 100th post I'm going to redo my first picture I ever posted, with every bell and whistle I can muster. After that, expect a wave of Avatar art to head your way. Blame :iconmaki123:, she got me hooked. And may I just say, Tokka is adorable.

I made a decision about my college. I'm going to FSU for two years before I transfer to SCAD. I just can't afford to go straight out, so even though it pains me to wait another two years, I can deal. Plus, FSU has an awesome study abroad program, so hopefully I can go to London to study my sophmore year.

Well, that's about it for news, here's to the four years that have passed, and here's to many more!

Wow...has it really been four years..omg...I'm tearing up....I'm not joking! It's crazy, you're going to be going off to college and our lives are just beginning....I'll be out of high school soon myself. I'm in a very nostalgic mood today huh? God, I miss our craziness. :giggle:

life's good! Trying to get a summer job... failing. but trying. I just got as far in this animation I'm working on as I'm going to get, so I'm about to put it up :D. Other than that, just finishing up my senior year. Oh, also, Samurai Champloo. I watched the whole series in two days. :D It's good stuff.

Hmm... what else... looking at a bunch of sketch blogs (They're a bunch of fun, I can link you to a few good ones if you want ;)) and working on my drawings, trying to improve my style and stuff. I hope you get time to get together a short and get it up. I haven't seen any of your animation since SCAD camp :)

I know how you feel, the stupid ressesion means NO ONE is hiring. That means I have no money for anime and manga, which makes me very sad. Hopefully when May hits the summer positions will open up, but right now the job market sucks.

Sketch blogs? That sounds cool, send those links my way! Samurai Champloo is good, I never got to see the whole series though. *sob* I'll try to have my animation up by Sunday, but don't expect anything fancy. I still don't have a light station, so I'll use the photoshop animation tool.
